Hi, nice to meet you. My name is Richard Schwagerl.

I am a scholarship graduate of USC with a Bachelor of Music Degree.

I have been a professional musician for 45 years and a student / teacher my whole life. I had the honor of touring as the vibraphonist and percussionist with Lou Rawls, composing for the Travel Channel & MTV as well as performing with dozens of LA Bands. Currently band leader of Island Voyage / steel drum band and The Right Vibe / the elegant sound of the vibraphone.

With over 6000 performances, I Have learned the art of entertaining from performing with some of the best: Lou Rawls, Taj Mahal, Robert Greenidge, Chuck Mangione, Horace Silver, Tommy Castro, Emil Richards to name a few.
